Super slow service. Mediocre food. Disappointing experience, It took 30 minutes to receive our food. It wasn't even busy. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with crab and a croissant. The waitress even admitted that all there food comes from Sysco Food Truck. The food was not terrible, but it was comparable to an experience at iHop. The salsa they have is pretty good though. Bacon was alright as well. Their pita bread was the worst. Hard as a rock. I really wanted to eat at the Root Cafe, but it was closed for July 4th.Go somewhere else, unless there are no other options

To begin, the service was exceptional. They were busy for Sunday Brunch but our server tended to us very well and kept our coffee full. The food was even better. The gravy tastes homemade and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Has several very creative menu items that they executed very well. Highly recommended.

Food is really good. Had the biscuits and gravy and hubby had yogurt pancake and omelette. Service is really slow so might nit be the best bet if youre in a rush.

MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TAKE OUT ORDER!!! I usually have nothing but good this to say about this place; great food and atmosphere. This being a locally owned restaurant I give it a pass on my normal standards but I've got to note that Delicious Temptations has been lacking a lot lately. They're service is usually slow but again, I chalk that up to being a small local restaurant; no big deal. Today was the second time in a row I've called in a breakfast order only to find that when I've gotten home the order was totally wrong. What made matters even worse is that when I tried to call and get the order corrected nobody would answer the phone. I finally went back up there to get my order right. As I'm walking to the counter a customer was returning a plate of pancakes b/c she said they were "too cold." I don't know if the staff is having a rough morning or what but I'm going to have to start reconsidering calling in orders to Delicious Temptations in the future. I must add that the owner was very apologetic and remade my order right away. That would have made a bigger impact had this not been the second time in a row this had happened. MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TAKE OUT ORDER!!!

My friends and I decided to try something new, so this lucky place was it. Don't let the small space and dated decor fool you. The food was really good, and all of my friends and I all loved what we ordered (we all got something different). The thing that impressed me the most was the excellent service our waiter provided. He was charming and friendly. I'm giving only 4 stars because the wait to get food was really long (we were told it might be since all ingredients are fresh), and our food order wasn't completely right. Overall, it was great, and I will definitely return.

This place has a small town kind of feel with small town charm to match. For brunch I ordered the OT Omelette with lump crab meat along with a single pancake and it was beyond excellent. This was my first visit but far from my last.

Delicious Temptations has decent food, but everytime we've been, the service has been extremely slow. Being gluttons for punishment, we decided to give it a try again for breakfast this morning. We sat ourselves and waited...and waited...and waited. We watched each of the servers pass by us three times and no one ever acknowledged us. We got up to leave and the man who had been working the register (the owner or manager, I think) asked us if everything was OK. We told him that we had never gotten waited on and he just gave us a lame "sorry." I always try to patronize locally owned establishments, but this one's off the list. We won't be back.

Not family friendly. Showed up with my baby in a stroller and inquired about a table for 4 adults, 4 kids, and was flat-out told "NO" by the waitress who greeted me at the door. Probably upon seeing the look on my face she backtracked a little and explained we "might have to wait 20-30 minutes if we decided to stay," which would have been fine. Except she'd already made me feel more unwelcome than I'd ever felt in any restaurant in my life. When I walked back out the people outside said, "What, they turned away a woman and a baby?" and all I could say was "Yes." Had just moved into town and was supposed to be meeting another family here. Neither of us will ever be back.

If you haven't had breakfast here, all I can say is you're missing out!!! I tried the Old Fashioned EB last weekend, but I got the Canadian bacon instead of regular bacon or sausage. I also tried a blueberry pancake. It was the highlight of my weekend! A-mazing!! I would eat here every day if my budget (and hips) would allow it. They even offered a pecan-flavored coffee that was delicious. It has a nice home style atmosphere with courteous, friendly staff. The walls are decorated with Arkansas memorabilia, which is nice, as well. Everything tasted fresh and tasty, and my coffee stayed filled. Can't wait to go back! Sadly, as I write this, I'm sitting at B-Side which is close to Delicious Temptations and just finished trying their EB I wanted to give the other a try, because I had heard good things. I wish I had gone back to DT - just nowhere close to the experience I had there! As an aside, DT lunch is yummy there, too!! Definitely go!

Servers were nice but not well trained. You should not have an empty coffee cup in front of you for 25 minutes when the restaurant is not busy. Food came out cold to barely warm. They need to take anything with crab in it off the menu, it is not fresh as advertised and tastes terrible. Quality for price was sub par. The english muffins are pretty much the cheapest you could by at a grocery store. Potato breakfast casserol was strange. Pancakes were good. Ambiance was diner level at best. I wold not return or recommend.

I tried Delicious Temptations for thr first time 2 weeks ago. Since then, I've eaten there for lunch 6 times. I always get my food to go but I have not been disappointed. The place is small but the food is delicious. They allllllllllllll know me by name now. Definitely worth trying. The omelets are fresh and they use fresh ingredients.

Really gone downhill in recent years. Extremely slow kitchen, very mediocre food and dirty. Restrooms are filthy and kitchen looked equally nasty. Amazed they pass health department inspections. Service staff are trying their best but not worth the wait. Too bad, DT used to be good.

decent food and very nice staff. This was my second time to come here since visiting home. I met up with a couple of friends for breakfast and prices are a little tricky. The omlette for example is a base price but then each topping is an extra $0.69 which can add up quickly if you get a little greedy. It was good though and they were nice to sub out the crossiant for a small bowl of fruit. The one big issue we had is that it seriously took FOREVER to get our food and we just got 2 omlettes, a banana pancake, one california benedict, and a sandiwch for the table. it wasn't complex or anything like that. The food seriously took an abnormally long time to get to us and when it did, they actually forgot baout the benedict. That did come out shorlty after but the wait was not ok. We almost gave up and decided to cancel. Food is nothing super special or anythng either that blew you out of the water.

We have been looking for a little variety in our breakfast so we took a chance????? The food is good stuffed pancakes were unique my wife had pineapple and coconut pancakes!!! Tok sweet for me but really good! I enjoyed the DT omelette with crab meat. The strawberry butter was really good as well! Good service seasoning and flavors were a bit bland but overall it was good we plan on making another trip!

Was excited to try this place after reading the reviews but honestly, I was greatly disappointed. I ordered the eggs benedict and immediately wondered what I got for my money. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. The portion was extremely small and the sauce tasted like a instant mix. Got charged for a "split plate" charge which I was shocked. Overall, not what I expected but I will go back & try something else because I feel all dinning experiences deserve a second chance.

This review is not about Delicious Temptations's food ~ because we never ate any. My husband and I went here yesterday based on reviews he had heard from other people. Wanted a quick lunch, something nicer than fast food. Walked into a small room with many tables, and a pretty busy atmosphere. That bodes well for the food, I'd say! Sadly, I'll never know. The sign said "Seat Yourself" which I think is an absolute, 100% horrible idea. Servers walked past us for almost 20 minutes and never looked our way. We were completely ignored. I understand you can be busy, and possibly overlook it. But certainly, by the lack of even water glasses on our table, it was quite obvious no one had waited on us at all. We did take the long 20 minute wait to peruse the menu, and the food seemed like it would be tasty. Unfortunately, we got up and left and went to a wraps place down the street. We are not local, so we will not get a second chance to try this restaurant. My suggestion? Hire a hostess.

Ok brunch food, they do make nice muffins... the omelets are on a par with waffle house. If you want to charge hipster rates and make me wait... I'll just go scattered/covered/smothered for half the time and a third of the price.

We had brunch here on a Saturday morning. It was a good visit, but nothing special. The service was EXCELLENT. Our waitress was prompt, and very patient (I had a realllllly hard time deciding). The food was good. Mine was GREAT, but my husband's was just okay. He had the DT Omlette, which was okay. It was three eggs, stuffed with crab meat and covered in hollandaise sauce and served with a croissant. The crab and the hollandaise really didn't compliment each other, the omelette was pretty small for three eggs (it was the same size as the ones I make with 1.5 eggs) and the croissant was identical to the ones we buy every week from Sam's Club. My food was excellent. I had the avocado sunshine sandwich. It was turkey breast, tomatoes, sprouts, swiss, avocado, spinach and their house dressing. It was served alongside chips and a pickle spear, and it was absolutely delicious. I chose the wheat bread instead of the pita, and it was so good. They had so many sandwiches that sounded amazing, it really was a difficult choice. All in all it was a pretty good visit. The decor was blah, and Graham's meal was very mediocre. I'll go again though to try more of their sandwiches!

So I ordered the old fashion breakfast, eggs over medium with bacon and potato casserole. When we finally got our meals, all the food was cold, the bacon partially uncooked, and the eggs were completely overlooked to the point where the yolk was fully cooked. Overpriced, slow service, and cold food. We will never be back.

This place is fantastic! Wait times might take a little longer than other places to get your food but worth it. The food is well prepared, taste great and cooked to order. We had the Eggs Benedict, old fashioned breakfast, potato casserole, cheese grits, blueberry & strawberry yogurt pancakes,. Everything was great ! Their coffee is also strong but smooth! You'll love it?

Ok. I a visiting 'the Rock' for a year so get ready for some honest reviews from a Chicago foodie! This place was GREAT! We went on a Saturday morning around 9 and it was starting to fill up by the time we finished our meal. The bacon and ham were really thin, but surprisingly good! I had cheese grits (yummy) and the strawberry yogurt pancake. There are no words to describe the delicious, firm, fluffiness of this dish! Definitely will be going back! Down home southern service, they are really glad you come!

We ordered an omelette and the eggs and ham croissant sandwich. Had to finish it off with the bourbon pecan pie. The food was great, the service was friendly. I would recommend to a friend!

We arrived at Delicious Temptations with great expectations at ~10:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014. It was busy, but a few tables were available. Rather than taking a "clean" one in the center of the room, we chose to wait for table number 1 to be cleared, which was in the corner by the front window. What should have been a reasonably quick process turned into a five-minute wait. Lacking the appropriate equipment for the job, the young woman made three trips to and from the table before we were able to sit down. Alas, that comparatively short delay was insignificant compared to our much longer waits to come. Cheap, laminated menus are left on the table, and their questionable sanitation left me wondering how often they receive any attention from staff. Perhaps we should be grateful they were already present, though, since we had more than ample time to read every word on each of the four pages before anyone appeared to take our order. This was ironic because we had perused the online menu and decided on our order before arriving at the storefront establishment. Both of us have been craving a good Eggs Benedict for some time, so we exercised the unusual option of ordering the same item. While we waited . . . and waited . . . and waited for our food, we passed the time by discussing how grateful we were that our order apparently was receiving the individual attention that a good Eggs Benedict deserved. After 30 minutes or so, however, our gratitude began to wear a bit thin, so we were very happy when our server showed up with two plates in tow. Unfortunately, we were surprised to see two half orders of Eggs Benedict instead of what we had clearly ordered. When we pointed out the error, our semi-apologetic server encouraged us to enjoy the two half orders while two more half orders were being prepared. These first two were very disappointing. Both of our eggs were overcooked--complete with largely dry, solid yolks--to the point that they resembled two hard-boiled eggs rather than the delicately poached eggs that Eggs Benedict requires. The hollandaise sauce was scant, and it obviously was prepackaged. The Canadian bacon was nothing more than two ultra-thin slices of lunch meat. Since we were hungry, bordering on ravenous, after our long wait, we had these well below average concoctions devoured before the server appeared with the 2nd half of the meal we originally ordered. To be fair, the second two were much better. The egg yolks were appropriately runny, and the prepackaged hollandaise sauce was delivered in an adequate quantity. Given the inexpensiveness, we decided the second half of our order actually was an acceptable economical substitute for a good Eggs Benedict, and we were satisfied. Then the bill arrived. We received two tickets. The first order was charged out at $3.99/each for two half orders. This total, of course, was $7.98. The second order was charged out at $6.99, which is the price of one full order. Since we originally ordered two full orders, this means we were charged one cent short of a dollar too much. When I took our check to the cash register to pay, I pointed out their error, and the young woman acknowledged the mistake. But did she correct it? Not so much. Saying, "I guess we'd better go with what's on the tickets," she took my debit card, cheerfully charged me ninety-nine cents too much, and sent me on my disgruntled way. Given the relatively inexpensive prices, we were hoping our experience at Delicious Temptations would be acceptable. The menu descriptions of some of the lunch menu items were enticing. Unfortunately, we are not inclined to return to sample them. C'est la vie.

I went with a friend and ordered their blueberry yogurt pancakes based on suggestion I read at yelp. The suggestion was definitely on the money. Besides that, we ordered their DT Omelette which contains crab meat and topped with hollandaise. The hostess was really courteous and the other staff was pretty supportive too. It really looked like a perfect Mom & Pop restaurant run with more passion then corporate precision. order was expected to take some time so a gentleman (most likely the owner/manager) served us courtesy blueberry squared style desserts. I gave them the 5th start just for this service. The place looks like a popular meeting place for senior citizens as more than half of the table were occupied loving old people.

As I ate my lunch at Delicious Temptations, I wondered, "How have I not eaten here until now?!" They have a plethora of options (many healthy, might I add.) As an added bonus, I can get breakfast or lunch until 2:30 daily? Of course I'm in. Who doesn't love brunch?? I know I do. The location is somewhat hidden, tucked in a strip mall on Rodney Parham. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, with photos of Arkansas lining the walls. We were instantly greeted and seated by our friendly waitress. After perusing the menu, the tabled decided on the Avocado Sunshine sandwich (spinach, turkey breast, avocado, tomato, sunflower seeds, house dressing, Swiss cheese and sprouts); Grilled Cheese with Turkey sandwich and potato casserole; and the Ham & Cheese quiche. The sandwiches are served with a side of chips, while the quiche came with a side salad and fruit bread. As my mother wasn't sure if she wanted a half or whole sandwich, the waitress offered to bring a half and assured my Mom she could whip up another half in no time if needed. We really appreciated this kind gesture. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The quiche was delicious! However, I was more impressed with the side salad, as it was actually flavorful and far from boring (much better than the standard lettuce, tomato, and cheese blend). For dressing, I had the lower fat, homemade house dressing - very tasty. The potato casserole side was also very good. Great food, great service, great experience! Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is great! The service is sometimes lacking but not because of effort. It's just that the place is quite small & always seems to be busting at the seems with people. So it's almost like they are never properly staffed. The food here is truly delicioso! The pancakes the waffles & eggs Benedict, biscuits & sausage gravy. Extra crispy bacon & well done sausage patties. The food never disappoints. & that is the reason I keep coming back...but the service needs help pronto!

This place is just underwhelming. Little Rock has a bit of a shortage of sit-down, old-fashioned breakfast places and this restaurant does not offer much. Service is slow and disorganized, food is uninspired and lukewarm, and the experience is just too expensive for what it is. Sure, the famous cheesy potatoes are good but those alone are not enough to get me to come back. This place needs a unique identity, some original dishes, and a staff that seems like they care. Until then, save your money and make breakfast at home.

After a night of camping at Maumelle, a friend and I decided to try a local breakfast place before driving home. Delicious Temptations was the perfect choice! The servers were polite, helpful, and friendly. We recieved great customer service, including the owner greeting us and sending us with a "lagniappe" (bonus, or extra, as he described) treat for our trip back to TN. Not the mention, the food was awesome! We each had one of the benedict options, and a side order pancake per our waitresses suggestion. Both were excellent, but I definitely reccomend the pancakes, simply fantastic! Delicious Temptations will always have my business if I'm in the Little Rock area!

Sweet mother of God, the blueberry yogurt pancakes are straight from heaven!!! I have NEVER had a better, more unique pancake in my life, and I loved every calorie-filled minute of it. I would recommend this place to anyone! I'm also a HUGE fan of coffee, and they had several daily varieties to choose from. I was very excited when I saw they had a pecan roasted coffee - one of my favorites! It definitely did not disappoint. I begged for them to tell me how to make the yogurt pancakes myself, but alas - it's a family secret of the original owner's. I guess I'll just have to keep going back for the deliciousness!

I love brunch. Like LOVE brunch. So there was no question what we'd be doing on Sunday morning when I visited LIttle Rock for the weekend... all I could think of is "where are we going to eat brunch?" Of course I Yelped. We had been given some suggestions for some local places, but they seemed a little pricey. Delicious Temptations was close and cheap, so we gave it a try. After browsing the menu prior to going, (thanks to Ron N. for posting pics of the menu!) I was also super excited to try it because they have a variety of eggs benedict plates. I am a big fan of eggs benedict, so I tried the Eggs Temptations, which was eggs benedict with crab meat and artichoke hearts. Three things I really enjoy all together, so I couldn't resist. Overall, the dish was ok- eggs were poached just right, the hollandaise was good, but it was very heavy on the artichokes and very light on the crab. I would have liked more crab (like enough that I can actually taste it) and less artichokes, but I guess I understand bc crab is expensive. The portion would have been enough if I was just hungry, but I was really hungry, so I ordered a side of the potato casserole because it sounded delicious. It came as a large cup of semi-mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and what I figured was cream of mushroom, because I found chunks of mushroom in it. I am a big fan of anything with potatoes, but I would not have ordered it if I could rewind. It was just too much cheese and cream for my liking. I also shared a strawberry yogurt pancake with my friend (geeze, I really sound like a little piggy here) and it was heavenly. It was so light and fluffy and it was practically dessert. My friend ordered a custom omelette with egg beaters, ham, bell peppers, onions and maybe some other stuff and it came with a croissant. The croissant was so good and I forgot to ask if they made them in house, because it tasted to fresh. They also give you strawberry butter to go on that croissant, and it was great too. The other quirk was the cinnamon coffee that I ordered that was the perfect touch to my mega-breakfast. The prices and portions were ok enough to go back. The sweet waitress and no wait for a table (at noon on a Sunday) were also nice bonuses. And I'm glad I read the advice that it's behind the Party City on Rodney Parham, because we wouldn't have been able to find it otherwise!

Food is fantastic! When they are busy it will take awhile to get your meal. Occasionally they are short staffed but the food really makes up for it! Pancakes are the best I've ever had and omelets are perfect! For lunch the cashew chicken crunch sandwich is never a let down! You can order half a sand which or even make it a salad. The clientele is about half seniors and half less than 35yr old foodies!

I wish I could leave a review but my husband and I were denied service because of my Service Dog. I usually don't go into why I have a service dog, but to explain the red neck ignorant attitude let me give you background. I was. Diagnosed with PTSD 23 months ago and have been working with my service dog for 22. The owners son came out while I was a in the restroom and told my husband "that ain't no seeing eye dog common man get out.". My husband said his wife was in the bathroom and he, Anthony, said " common man get out". He didn't ask for documentation, or anything. So delicious temptations is blacklisted on our list and it's unfortunate because it was good. Being discriminated and denied service is embarrassing and hurtful and when it's due to ignorance it makes it worse.

I had heard this place was over-rated, but when I saw such positive Yelp reviews for Delicious Temptations, particularly the mention of blueberry yogurt pancakes, I felt we should try it. Our friend is visiting us from NYC, so we thought we'd take her with us to try out this breakfast spot. I used the Yelp mobile app, but had trouble finding DT, even so. It's in the shopping center that is on Rodney Parham, behind Party City. I was concerned that we got there later in the morning on a Saturday that it would be crowded, but it wasn't full at all, and we could seat ourselves. The decor isn't too inviting and doesn't really enhance the experience of the food, but it's calm and pretty. I ordered one blueberry yogurt pancake and half the California eggs Benedict (poached eggs, hollandaise, tomato and avocado on an English muffin). I liked that you could order as many or as few pancakes as you want and that you can order "half" the eggs Benedict dishes, which is just one egg, etc. What I DIDN'T like is that I asked for no tomato on my California benedict, and it came with it anyway. This happens to me so often, but I do not like tomatoes, so I had to disembowel the pretty little egg tower to get the offending vegetable out of there. It was absolutely delicious, though! The avocado is a brilliant way to serve this classic dish! My friend had one strawberry yogurt pancake and she said, "OMG! It was delicious!" and she too had half the California Benedict (with tomato), She also enjoyed it. My husband ordered the "old-fashioned breakfast" with eggs, bacon and a potato casserole dish. He asked for his bacon to be crispy, and he said it was "okay." We almost ALWAYS have trouble getting places to cook the bacon crispy. He LOVED the cheesy potato casserole, though! We all looked at it with envy! The prices were very reasonable, the service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious -- some of it even inspired. We will definitely be back for brunch!

I was skeptical about this place because it was outside of the few areas in Little Rock that I like to frequent. BUT, I trusted the other yelpers and went to try it. I was glad someone else posted that it was behind Party City- that made it very easy to find, but it was a hole in the wall in a shopping strip that consisted of mostly places who had gone out of business. It was a Sunday after church and the line was going out the door. I asked a local if it was any good, and she confirmed that it was. We waited the fifteen minutes to be seated, which was actually kind of impressive because it wasn't a big restaurant and tons of people were there. I noticed that it was a wide range of ages also- twenty year olds to great grandparents. Our waitress was awesome. We told her we were from out of town and she let me try two kinds of coffee and sent us home with several packs of strawberry butter. I got the coffee of the day- which was blueberry. Would not have ordered that had another yelper not suggested getting the coffee of the day. Well, if coffee can change your life this one did. Who knew that coffee could taste so good without any creamer!?!? The mister is particular about coffee, so we only ever get coffee from places like Costa Rica (by the goodwill of our friends- not bc we jaunt there all the time). This was fabulous though. Strawberry butter also the best I've had- and the blueberry yogurt pancakes also great. We also split the DT omelet that had crab- yum. I think the only other items we had were bacon and a croissant, and I was pleased. I couldn't decide between here and Boscos as most options are closed on Sunday- but we made the right choice. We will be going back to Delicious Temptations for sure!

I dine here often, and it is always the same. SLOW. If you are hungry, or in a hurry, avoid this place. The food is fine, but nothing extraordinary. The staff is nice, when you see them. But they must be severely understaffed because it always takes forever. Forever to get your drinks, forever for a refill, and anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour to get your food. Regardless of how busy they are at the time. If you know to expect this ahead of time and have the time to spend then it's not a big deal. But if you are expecting the service you would find in any other restaurant then you will be very disappointed, because this place is just not there.

Love it here. Me and my family go a few times a month for breakfast and it's just fantastic. The biscuits and gravy are the bomb.com . The prices are more than fair, food is great and service is prompt and always friendly.

Not much flavor. The pita was dry. My sandwich was tasteless and my husbands crab cakes were bland and mushy and well, there was absolutely no flavor. The service was slow. Nice waitress, but it took forever for a couple of sandwiches. This place just wasn't inspired, flavorful or fresh enough for me to come back to again.

Mumsy and I missed breakfast at the hotel, but didn't want a massive breakfast so soon to lunch-time, so we popped in here (a little hangry, we both admitted afterwards!) so were grateful for the fast and friendly service. I had a half order of the Eggs Florentine, and Mumsy, who is "gluten-free" had oatmeal and was given a choice of fruit. Both of us were happy - especially with the price!

Get the coconut pancakes! They won't disappoint you. I like the old fashion egg Benedict too.

Pretty standard country breakfast spot. Friendly service, strong coffee that's continually refilled, large portions, and reasonable prices. The pancakes were pretty good, and the basic breakfast with eggs, hash browns, and bacon is all right, just nothing overly special. It's worth a visit once I suppose.

I haven't had a bad breakfast here, yet. The food tastes great, the prices are pretty reasonable, the service is attentive, and it's not far from where I live. Overall, a nice, neighborly place to eat breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Corned beef hash would make a nice addition to the menu.

Went here for brunch on Saturday, and it was very crowded. The only bad thing about the whole experience was that our service was slow, and we felt that they needed to hire more waiters to deal with the large crowd. But I am very patient so that hardly took away from my experience. The food was very good, from the yogurt pancakes to the California eggs Benedict, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place.

DT's is always a 'mus visit' after church on Sunday's for brunch and this weekend was no exception. Being a holiday weekend we were able to get seating for our group of 6 without any wait. Sundays can often be quite crowded at DT. I got my usual order of Eggs Benedict, as did several other in our party. Kiddo got a waffle, and the other adults got omelets. Eggs Benedict came out great as always. I was still a bit hungry afterwards and Dad mentioned the same. Maybe an order of bacon or sausage next time would be good on the side. The waffle was a bit bland, but large. It was only half eaten by the end of the meal, so I think pancakes would have been a better more tasty choice for the youngster. I am sure I will be back next trip to Little Rock!
